I have been blessed through marriage with three children under the guidance of the Lord in our live, sometimes with hard times and sometimes with easy times, the key is to sustain family with the restored gospel, with sacred ordenances in the Holy Temple.
President Howard W. Hunter stated: «if our lives and our faith are centered upon Jesus Chrit and his restored gospel, nothing can ever go permanently wrong… if our lives are no centered on the Savior and his teachings, no other success can ever be permanently right.»
“Marriage” referred to only one relationship the union of a man and a woman.
On the other hand, the right to marry is a fundamental right and it is inherent into liberty, therefore same-sex couples cry out for that right the point is that on liberty is not related to right, and what about dignity? There is dignity in the bond between two-man or two women? On Constitution was predicated on a simple truth: One’s liberty, not one’s dignity. Law is based on neutral principles of constitutional law but on its own understanding of what liberty is. But liberty is not lost, nor can it be found in the way petitioners seek. As a philosophical matter, liberty is only freedom from governmental action, not an entitlement to governmental benefits. In my opinion, liberty means what we need to do instead of what we want to do.
Marriage has a purpose and one of them is procreation and create family ties, as we know procreation occurs through sexual relations between a man and a woman, and bond as marriage has benefits on married couples that develop personal attributes through mutual collaboration and agreement. Also, the nature of marriage is that through its enduring bond, two persons together can find other freedoms, such as expression, intimacy, and spirituality.
President Russell M. Nelson on his talks stated that: “God is the Father of all men and women. They are His children. It was He who ordained marriage as the union of a man and a woman. Marriage was not created by human judges or legislators. It was not created by lobbyists. Marriage was created by God!”
President Nelson also said: “We have the responsibility to proclaim the will of God to all people… the truth or the sacred nature of marriage. Family life will provide your most enduring rewards.” As disciples of Jesus Christ, we should focus on benefits on married couples between a man and a woman, support and defend the marriage as nature union of a man and a woman is our duty. On the other hand marriage between the same sex, the legal treatment of gays and lesbians have arguments relatives to have benefits of hospital, and recognition of spousal status on official documents, but what about bond as marriage?
